"Not hardly." You do know that only 3.8% of America is LGBT right?

I also know that fewer than 3.8% of all comic book characters are LGBT.

So tell me, who are your favorites…?

A. That number is an ass-pull AND deceptive. The current estimates put it at up to 15% of population identifying as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, or Asexual. Even if you break out strictly homosexual/homoromantic cis men to 3.8%, (which may still be a fake number) it’s disingenuous to say “Only,” about nearly 1.5 MILLION PEOPLE.

B. OMG, straight dudes will watch endless amounts of “Lesbian,” porn but GOD FORBID a lesbian who doesn’t exist for their gaze, a gay or bisexual man, a bi woman who isn’t there to gratify them, a trans person, intersex or non-binary person, or :gasp: an ASEXUAL appear, and it’s all, “COOTIES, COOTIES IN MY ENTERTAINMENT, NOOOOOOO.”

I have issues with what I’ve seen so far, but will reserve judgment on the issue until I have context on whether BOBBY says, “This or THIS, is how I identify,” (bisexual or gay)but since there isn’t a day that goes by without LGBTQIA people getting hate, I am NOT HERE for dudes who think characters who aren’t their avatars are “Pandering,” or superfluous. You aren’t the entire center of the universe, get over it.

They/them, 30+, casual writer, perpetually falling in love with new things. Humanist and more than a little angry about it.
Not gay as in happy, but queer as in fuck you. ♥️
